Fees and Rebates

  • Consultation fee for a 50+minute session is $210

    No referral is required to book an appointment to see a clinical psychologist. However you may wish to see your general practitioner if you wish to claim a rebate from Medicare.

  • Medicare

    The current Medicare rebate for a 50-minute session with a clinical psychologist is $136.35 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Therefore, with the rebate, your ‘out of pocket’ expense or ‘gap payment’ for an appointment is $73.65.

    The full fee is to be paid at the end of each session by eftpos after which we can process your medicare rebate on your behalf if you have provided us with a copy of your referral or Mental Health Care Plan.

  • Private Health Insurance

    If you have private health insurance you may also be eligible to claim a rebate from your private health fund. Please contact your health fund directly to find out if you are eligible. We can provide an invoice to you at the end of each session to assist you with arranging a rebate from your private health fund.

    Please note you cannot claim a Medicare rebate if you are also claiming a rebate from your private health fund.

  • Psychological Support Services (PSS)

    We provide a small number of sessions to eligible individuals who are experiencing financial hardship or low income and who may not be able to access Medicare subsided services. Please ask your general practitioner about a PSS referral.   • NSW Compulsory Third Party (CTP)

    If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and have a current CTP claim you may be referred by your Nominated Treating Doctor or Nominated Treating Specialist for psychological treatment.

    You will need to provide us with the referral and your claim details (i.e. claim number, insurer and contact details for your case manager). Written approval from the insurer is also required for psychological treatment to commence.

    For services provided under CTP Claims fees are charged at the current Australian Psychological Society (APS) rates

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

    If you have a self managed or plan managed NDIS plan and funding within the Capacity Building Supports - Improved Daily Living (CB Daily Living) we can provide psychological support tailored to your plan goals.
